History for today
The international exhibition Anne Frank – A History for Today, first created in 2008, is now shown in more than forty countries. The exhibition contains thirty-two panels about the life and diary of Anne Frank, her family and the general historical events leading up to the Holocaust. The worldwide tour of the exhibition is coordinated by the Anne Frank House in collaboration with local partner organizations.
History for Awareness or Historija/Istorija/Povijest za sv(ij)est is the accompanying exhibition, consisting of seven local history panels which contextualize topics relevant for the past 60 years of history, focusing on detrimental patterns of nationalism, war, discrimination, refusing to face the past. Within the HIP project, unique local history panels were produced for the exhibitions in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and Serbia.
